our iconic tea sets are perfect for tea parties for both boys and girls!

Posted on August 22, 2017

Tea parties always lift our mood.  We love drinking up a pretend almond chai or a skinny mocha latte. Mmmmmmmm yum ( wish it was the real thing).  There once was a time when we didn't order a skinny chai latte or a soy flat white. Coffee or tea was it. We actually prefer a really really really milky tea with lots of sugar or just a regular chai latte. Today's 3-year old Barista's will grow up with all the new cafe lingo.

But a good host should always serve their guest first. Manners are important these days, "how many sugars Charlotte?".

This tea set  is designed to sit loud and proud on your coffee table next to your designer coffee table books. It's stylish just like your little Barista in the making, and not pink or blue for only boys or girls.

Ahhhhhh sit back and pass me a cuppa.

And we like things neat, so we also have designed a beautiful cardboard box to pack your tea set away in afterwards.

These ice creams are serious childhood classics from the 70's, 80's and today but some are sadly no longer around as the original or gone altogether. They are still some of our all-time favorites no matter how fancy future ice cream became. Paddle Pop, Choc Wedge, Golden Gaytime and Hazelnut Roll; just to name a few of these classic Aussie Ice Creams that are ingrained in our memories to purchase with a humble $1 back in the day.

Choc Wedges make us think of times when our parents took us to the Milk Bar and said "choose only one ice cream".  Or we sometimes gravitated to a Paddle Pop  but could never decide which flavor? Do we go Calippo (always refreshing ) or mix it up with a Bubble O Bill which somehow this ice cream works with its strange combination of soft sweet ice cream and rigid to chew bubblegum nose. Regardless of which one we choose, we would spend endless summer days munching off all the ice cream then licking the stick dry. Every bite takes us  back to the days... our very first encounter with these classics.

Printed on 50% linen & 50% cotton tea towel. These tea towels are hand-folded, and then beautifully tied with string and a Make Me Iconic tag.

These beauties are back in stock!

Remember when you were six and your birthday was something to get excited about? Really, really excited about? Presents, games, some balloons, all your friends, a giant cake and of course fairy bread. Sugary, rainbow coloured hundreds and thousands coating spongy white bread. Mmmmm. Almost better than blowing out the candles and making a wish. Almost.

We decided that we loooooooooooooooooved fairy bread so much but perhaps not the sugar rush or calories and decided to re-create our favourite party treat in these gorgeous little purses that can fit all your little bits and pieces - all looking fabulous and very glamorous at the same time.

We got tired of the same-old-same-old saying "it's a girl" or "it's a boy" or even "congratulations". So we came up with an iconic saying - MADE IN SYDNEY. Which we think is pretty cool and unique - assuming that it, that the baby has been made in Sydney?
