FAQs
Here you'll find some really important information about random stuff from us
Do you ship worldwide?
Yeah, of course we can send our products internationally except the USA & Canada (for legal and toy testing reasons). Standard delivery for international orders is by Australia Post air mail and can take about 7-14 working days (it has a long way to go once it leaves Australia!). Freight charges are calculated by actual weight using Australia Post’s standard international postal rates. See our Shipping info page for more details.
Can you do corporate gifts?
Of course we can! Our products make great corporate gifts and much more fun than a squeezy ball with a logo on it. Please send fill in your details here.
I have lost some of my tram and do you have spare parts?
Have you misplaced one of your little tram or ferry people? Or maybe you are just missing some wooden parts for one of your other Make Me Iconic toys? Sometimes things get lost or stuck in unusual places and are never to be found again – no matter how hard you look for it. Not to worry, we have a few spare wood people and parts to fit your iconic toy tram and/or other toys. Or maybe you just want a few extra passengers to go along with your toy tram or ferry? It really does not matter. Whatever the reason, we have passengers, conductors, little sailors and spare parts. Click here to see what we have or you can also email us at hello@makemeiconic.com and let us know what you are after.
Can you do custom items?
Sorry, we are not currently able to offer custom prints or items.
how do I RETURN or EXCHANGE an item?
Please refer to our refunds and exchange policy on the website for all details.
Do you have sales?
We offer seasonal sales twice a year with end of line items. Register for email updates to be notified when our sale starts, and when we offer further reductions.
Can you send items as gifts?
Of course! We think our products make great gifts, and giving is just a nice feeling in itself. If you’d like us to send to an address other than your own it’s no problem. When you place your order, just let us know your delivery instructions. We will gift wrap free of charge and add a little gift card too with whatever message you would like to write.....
Can I use more than one promotional code at the same time?
No sorry, you can only use one promotional code at one time so please choose the one you would like to use. Signing up to our newsletter gives you a 10% off your next purchase with us but can only be used once and not with any other promotional code we might have running at the time.
Why did I not get FREE shipping after using my promotional code?
Free shipping only applies for items you ordered with us over $140. If you had $100 worth of Make Me Iconic goods in your shopping cart and then applied a promotional code to receive a discount, this amount is deducted from the $140 and therefore the goods are under $140 and FREE shipping is not eligible. You will need to add other goods to your order to qualify for the free shipping to make it over $140. Please take into consideration discounts of the purchase price to receive free shipping.
Do I have to pay for Duties and Taxes outside AUSTRALIA?
Please be note that customers ordering online from other countries outside Australia are responsible for payment of any local customs duties. If customs duties are refused or unpaid these will be deducted from any future refund if applicable. We have no control over these charges as customs policies vary by country. If you have any questions related to customs charges, we advise you to contact your local customs office or to get an estimate of import duties which may be payable for international orders check out importcalculator.com
An item I wish to purchase is out of stock. When will it be available again?
Please click the ‘envelope' link on the product page and send us an email. You will then be notified by email as soon as we have it again.
Can you hold items for me until everything I want is in stock?
We cannot hold products. We have a very wide product range and it is not possible to have all current items in stock at the same time. If some of the things you hope to buy are not currently available, please place separate orders.
Can I add water to my toy teaset or other wooden toys?
But it's important to note that all our wood toys are just for pretend play only. They are made of wood and although they are quite solid they are also quite delicate. We thought we might write something here on our blog post about water and wood toys and how in-fact they are not a good combination.
How do I care & maintain my fabric products?
Some of our products are made from 100% cotton, cotton linen and cotton/polyester. Please take care of your product by washing in cold water with gentle cleaning products. Avoid harsh chemicals because they are subject to fading the product. Do not tumble dry as this may cause shrinkage and always leave product to dry in a cool shaded area to avoid fading and sun bleaching. Where possible avoid hanging your product as this may warp the shape. All our prints have been heat-sealed but may be subject to bleed on the first wash so we recommend that you hand wash your first wash. It is imperative that you follow our care and maintenance instructions for the best longevity of our product.
Care instructions for cushions - we recommend not to wash you cushion covers as they will fade with each wash (like a good pair of jeans). We suggest you sponge spot clean where ever possible.
How long should I store my screenprint in a tube for?
We recommend framing your print as soon as possible, however, if you intend on storing it for some time, we would encourage you to take your print out of the tube and store it flat in a dry place. /p>
What is an Artist Proof?
An Artist Proof is usually used to describe an impression of the finished work that aims to be identical to the numbered copies created by the screen printers. Artist's proofs are not included in the original count of limited edition prints. The artist proof’s available on our website are the very very very last of that particular batch of prints and sometimes there are only 15 Artist Proofs available. Each one is considered rare and unique for their slight imperfections and is therefore priced accordingly. Each artist proof is also specially identified with our "artist’s proof” stamp on the bottom (front facing) of the artwork.
How can I frame my screenprint?
Our screenprints are designed to fit simply into an IKEA 50cm x 70cm Ribba frame so it makes it that much easier for you to hang on your wall. All you have to do is admire it. We also recommend that you flatten your artwork under weights (or just a few books) for a few days to make sure it's nice and flat before placing in your frame. Or you can custom frame your print and take it to your local framer.
What do (W) and (L) stand for?
(W) stands for width. (L) stands for length. (H) stands for height.
