Sensory Play with our Wooden Toys! Make indoors fun.
It's easy to add some coloured rice to your play or you could even make your own. Put some of our wooden toys together with some rice and simply watch them play. Kids love bright colours and our natural wooden tea set show's off the bright colours of the rice and are perfect for filling with rice too!
It's easy to just use a plastic tub and fill it with rice. Then add some of our Mini Aussie Vehicles for a different type of play. Watch the shapes made in the rice after you have pushed a car through.
We love how @ulipekstyle has made her our coloured rice and simply used a wooden tray from the kitchen and our wooden tea set to create her own Sensory Play with rice. You don't always need the fancy set up and many items you might already have in your own home.
You don't always need coloured rice and can simple use plain rice like @invitationtoplay has done here. Grab a serving tray from home to contain some of the mess and rice!
Make your own play dough at home or use some pre-made purchased play dough. Try creating the same shapes you see out of play dough or add extra parts to your wooden toys. Use stamps or add sprinkles to the dough to create more textures and colour.
Match up real Arnott's biscuits to our wooden set. Make sure you wash your hands and have a clean surface if you are going to take a few nibbles! Can you match all our wooden toy biscuits to the real ones?
Just like @mellypook has done here you can use paper and cardboard for different textures. Not only does crunched up paper feel different in your hands but it also make some noise!
Fill some of our sequin purses and add some little gems inside like @quaintkids has done here.
