Brrrr, as it's colder outside, which means one thing: time for more craft ideas to help keep the imaginative play going strong in your home! Try our super cute painted road sign rocks - they're easy enough for all ages to have a go, and will add even more fun to their mini Aussie vehicle set.
Why We Love This Craft
Painting rocks allows kids to:
✔️ Practice fine motor skills
✔️ Experiment with colour mixing and patterns
✔️ Learn about shapes and design
✔️ Use natural materials found right in your own backyard
✔️ Create their own mini artworks or stones
You can paint Aussie-themed symbols like gum leaves, echidnas, rainbows, or even your own family of colourful creatures. Want to take it further? Try turning your rocks into a game of story stones for endless imaginative play.
