Shipping & Delivery
Yeah, of course we do! We can ship internationally—except to the USA & Canada (legal + toy testing stuff, sorry!). Delivery is via Australia Post Air Mail and usually takes around 7–14 working days. Shipping cost is based on weight.

Free shipping applies to orders over $140, after any discounts. So if your cart hits $140 and you apply a promo code, your final total might dip below the threshold—and that means no free shipping (boo, we know!). Add a little extra to your cart to qualify again.
If you’re ordering from outside Australia, you might be charged local customs duties or taxes—this varies by country and is out of our hands. If customs fees go unpaid or are refused, they may be deducted from any future refund. Need an estimate? Try importcalculator.com or contact your local customs office.
Absolutely! Just pop your gift note in at checkout and we’ll take care of the rest—free wrapping and all. We love a good surprise!
We ship via Australia Post and standard delivery usually takes 3–7 working days depending on your location. Regional or remote? Might take a bit longer, email us and we’ll get it to you.
You sure can. Once your order’s on the move, you’ll get a tracking number by email so you can follow your iconic goodies every step of the way.

Oh no! That’s not what we want. If your parcel seems stuck, email us at hello@makemeiconic.com and we’ll help sort it out with Australia Post. Be sure to have your order number handy.
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can usually update your address, just get in touch quickly! Once it’s on its way, we sadly can’t reroute it.
Standard delivery within Australia usually takes 3–7 working days, depending on your location. International shipping takes around 7–14 working days. You’ll receive tracking as soon as your parcel ships.

Absolutely! Sometimes you just need a few more little mates for the ride. We sell extra conductors and passengers separately so your iconic toys can have the full crew on board.

It depends. Some bits we’re happy to send for free (especially if your order was recent), while others might have a small cost to cover materials and postage. Either way, we’ll always chat with you first.
Oh no! That’s not how we like to do things. If something’s gone wrong with your order, please email us as soon as possible with a photo and we’ll sort it out, promise.
Not always, but we’ll do our best. Some older or limited-edition toys may not have extra parts available anymore, but it never hurts to ask!

Sorry, we don’t offer holds. With so many iconic goodies in rotation, we can’t guarantee restocks. If something’s available now, we recommend grabbing it before it disappears again!

Unfortunately, we can’t combine orders once they’re placed (our packing elves work fast!). If you forgot something, place a new order and we’ll ship it out separately and refund your shipping on the second order.

Yes! Just tick the box at checkout and we’ll wrap it beautifully and add your message, free of charge. Gifting = sorted. But no free gift-wrapping during sale periods.
Sometimes we do! We love surprising our customers with little extras—especially during special promos, seasonal launches or VIP sales. Keep an eye on our emails or socials to find out when we’re doing a free gift offer (they tend to disappear fast!). If you qualify, your freebie will be added automatically to your parcel—no code needed.
Product Care
Nah, best not. They’re made for pretend play only. Water + wood = not friends. We wrote about it on our Life & Play Blog if you're curious.
No, please don’t. Our wooden toys are made for imaginary play, not real-life bubbles. High heat and water will damage them. Just wipe clean with a damp cloth, no soaking, scrubbing, or sudsy adventures.
Our play food pieces are made from painted wood, so treat them gently. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Let them air dry completely before packing away.
Our wooden toys are safety tested, but most are recommended for ages 3+ because of small parts. We always suggest checking the age guide on each product page before purchasing, and keeping a close eye on little ones during playtime. To make things easier, you can use the filter on the right side of our website to browse toys by recommended age group.
Keep toys in a cool, dry spot, and avoid direct sunlight as it can fade colours. If they came in a box, that’s a great place to store them neatly.
A little wear and tear is totally normal; it just means your toy is being well-loved! How much wear really depends on how gentle (or rough!) your kids and visitors are during play. Our paints are non-toxic and safe, even when they start to show a few scuffs. Honestly, we think a bit of wear gives each toy character, it’s a sign it’s been treasured. But if you’re after advice or spare parts, get in touch. We’re always happy to help.
Not really, they’re made to be used and loved, so a bit of wear and tear is expected. Just wash them on a cold, gentle cycle and air dry in the shade. Avoid bleach, tumble drying, or ironing directly over the print. And don’t worry, each tea towel has a care label sewn into the side so you’ll know exactly how to look after it.
Cool wash only. no tumble dry. Avoid sun and harsh chemicals. Hand wash first time to avoid bleeding. Spot-clean cushions only—they’re like your fave jeans and fade over time.
We say frame it ASAP, but if you must store it, lay it flat in a dry space.
Prints & Art Stuff
An artist proof is a special limited version of a print, usually the last few of the batch. They’re rare and have slight imperfections that make them one-of-a-kind. We stamp them too.
We designed them to fit Ikea’s 50x70cm Ribba frame (easy!). Flatten your print under books for a few days before framing.

Most of the time, yes! With Shopify Markets, we support checkout in multiple currencies (depending on your location and payment method). Your local currency will show up at checkout if it’s available.
Currency conversion rates are updated regularly, so you might notice a slight difference between what’s displayed and your final payment. Your bank may also apply a small currency conversion fee depending on your card provider.
